Navajo Churro Lopi Yarn - Heather Gray

38.00

Our hand raised Lopi Rug yarn shorn from our Navajo Churro Sheep. Each skien is appx 7.5oz and 127 yards. Churro fiber is tough and durable, great for use in rugs and outerwear.  The Churro sheep are an old world, heritage breed, the first to come to North America from Spain. Their fleeces have traditionally been use in rug making by the Navajo and other Native American tribes.  Our goal is to offer a product that is as true to the Churro roots as possible.  These skeins are a mix of fiber from Salkahatchi, Felicia, Billy Holiday, and Minerva.
